Congrats on beating Lucilius without Terminus weapons. Its actually quite impressive Funny thing about Lucilius is he kinda got pseudo-nerf going from the mobile game to this His wings can attack on its own and has dedicated mechanics. TL;DR of the mechanic is the wings apply simon's says debuffs on you (doing SBA hurts yourself, and using skills heal your party and Lucilius) The entry Paradise Lost is unavoidable. Static 30,000 HP damage, cant reduce the damage with buffs/debuffs, cant dodge it. You gotta eat it no matter what Oh, and his Gopherwood Ark lost its race mechanic (if you have Vaseraga and Narmaya in your team, say good-bye to them forever) _(Gopherwood Ark refers to Noah's ark)_ Not to mention he counts everytime you die. If you died 6 times, it used to instant fail for all 6 players. This mechanic was severely toned down few months ago; 18 death counts (this raid was released back in 2019)

You people who manage to get all the Celestial Weapons, especially Wakka's (fuck Blitzball) and ability to get to the point where you break damage'....and THEN to the point of being able to fight these monsters just absolutely blows my mind...I was always shit at the Sphere Grid, and then trying to get characters various Celestial Weapons....I could never even get ONE. I'm glad people like yourself found it so easy.... 😞

Not to contradict you, but I definitely have an English localized NES cartridge of Final Fantasy, that is the actual first one. So they existed, but they were very much under the radar. You are correct, in that FF7 was to Final Fantasy what Monster Hunter World was to Monster Hunter in the west.
